Read and sign the petition: The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) has gotten off to a good start, thanks to Elizabeth Warren and other progressives. Now that the Republicans rule both the House and Senate they will definitely be focusing on removing it or neutralizing its ability to function. “The Republican House has already passed legislation to dismantle, defund, or sabotage the CFPB, and conservatives are plotting to finish the job in the Senate.” Credo, National People’s Action, Americans for Financial Reform, and other allies in the progressive movement are demanding the Democrats to block and fight back against any and all attacks against Senator Warren’s consumer protection agency. PLEASE JOIN THE FIGHT BY SIGNING THE PETITION.

Sign the petition: We have made progress but when battling corporations (actually collections of corporations, kink of like corporate unions) we must realize it is never over and they never stop. Now, we are on the path to victory with net neutrality rules based on the strongest legal authority Title II. “But right now, lobbyists and trade associations which represent Big Cable and Big Telecom are actively working against you and me to undermine the open internet. National Cable & Telecommunications Association (NCTA) and CTIA- the Wireless Association are the trade associations of which your cable, internet, and cellular providers are members of. They pay these organizations with your money to actively work against you.” They have launched an attack telling Congress, the FCC and the President that Title II is bad and should be stopped but in order to protect their stock prices they tell Wall Street – No Problem! Please signe the petition and call if you can.

Sign the petition: Californians only – Please read the following and then email asking governor Brown “to institute an immediate moratorium on fracking in California until there is certainty that it won’t harm our health and our environment!” It is way past time we do something about this and where is the Jerry Brown of the 1980s?
