Help tell president Obama to “Stop These Corporate Deserters”

 Corporate Welfage
Sign the petition: We can’t wait for Congress to act.  Too many members of Congress are getting their campaign coffers lined with donations from tax-dodging corporations.  They’re being told to do nothing, and they’re playing along. But President Obama CAN act – and he has promised to do so. He hasn’t yet decided what action he will take.

The Chemicals Used in Fracking Should Not Be a Secret.

 Fracking out water
Sign the petition: Imagine finding out that you’ve been unknowingly drinking water contaminated by fracking, the extreme process of extracting oil and natural gas by pumping toxic chemicals underground. Now, imagine that you don’t know, and aren’t allowed to know, what’s making your water toxic.  Tell the EPA: Require Disclosure of Fracking Chemicals!

The U.S. Department of Transportation must take real action now to protect our communities from explosive oil train accidents.

 Oil trains

Sign the petition: After a record-breaking year of oil train derailments, spills and explosions, the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) has called these dangerous oil trains an “imminent hazard” to the public.2 That’s why they’ve proposed new standards to make these shipments safer.  But oil and rail companies don’t want to pay more to make oil trains safer. Take a moment to make sure the DOT is listening to the people, not Big Oil, by urging them to protect your community from explosive oil trains!
