New York just banned fracking. Now it’s California’s turn – Tell Brown.

 Stop Fracking
Sign the petiton: California is supposed to be the leader on environmental protections and at one time Jerry Brown was a staunch advocate.  Somehow New York governor Cuomo has moved on fracking ahead of Brown and California.  This doesn’t really matter of course because the important thing is that Gov. Brown follows suite and bans fracking in California.  However, in contrast to Governor Cuomo, Governor Brown has so far allowed fracking to expand unchecked in California, despite the clear public health risks and incredible lack of information about the long term dangers. It’s time for Governor Brown to ask himself the same question: Would he live in a community that was being fracked?
